The mission of New Jersey's Project Homeless Connect Day will be to bring communities together to create and promote tangible solutions to homelessness in their own communities, as well as in those neighboring them. New Jersey's first Project Homeless Connect Day will be held as part of the 2007 Point in Time Count on January 25, 2007. Hosting a statewide Project Homeless Connect day on the same day as the mandated Point in Time Count will allow CoC's to count even the hardest to reach, reduce duplication, and give CoC's the opportunity to provide those being surveyed with the services they need. |
